Games I play regularly are stellaris, a very very very heavily modded Skyrim, CS-GO with my wife, and now Elden ring. I have a EVGA RTX 3060, and a 5800x with 32gb of ram (won the ram in a giveaway it’s over kill) Monitor is 1440 p 144hz. Elden and Skyrim both hit their 60fps cap on ultra settings, and never dip, look amazing super smooth.
I'm just about ready to buy most my parts but I can't seem to find good comparisons to cost for the below Graphics cards. I have found: RX 6600 @ £240. RX 6600 XT @ £289. RX 6650 XT @ £300. RTX 3060 12 GB @ £326. From what I have seen usually the 6650 XT tops the board but I haven't seen the 12GB version of the 3060 in any comparison. The RTX 3060 contains 3,584 CUDA cores and a core clock performance of 1,320 MHz and a boost clock of 1,777 MHz, while the RTX 3060 Ti has 4,864 CUDA cores, a core clock performance of 1,410 MHz, and a boost clock of 1,665 MHz. Another noticeable difference between the two is memory size. The RTX 3060 has 12GB GDDR6, while the RTX 3060 Ti has
The 3060 MSRP is $329 so this has to be under that. I'm guessing when things go back to msrp the 2060 will be $200 and the 12gb would be a bit more. Getting a gpu that can do ray tracing, DLSS and DX12u for under $300 will be the cornerstone of budget builds. 1.12GB GDDR6X: 12GB GDDR6X: 8GB or 16GB GDDR6: 285 W: 200 W: 160 W: 115 W: 200 W: 170 W: The RTX 4060 Ti is a very different card from the RTX 3060 Ti, are worth using most of the time. The RTX 3060 Ti has much more in common with the RTX 3070 than the RTX 3060. The RTX 3060 Ti is a pretty moderately cut down RTX 3070. The RTX 3060 is a completely different smaller die, and different memory topology. Even though the RTX 3060 has more VRAM, it's not like it's powerful enough that it will ever actually meaningfully use 12GB for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060. Chipset Manufacturer. NVIDIA. Features. Multiple Monitor Support, G-SYNC/FreeSync Compatible, VR Ready. Cooling Component Included. Fan with Heatsink. Power Cable Requirement. 8-Pin PCI-E.
Here, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti was on average a meager 5% faster than the 3060 Ti. It's worth noting that while the 4060 Ti was 20% faster in just a single instance, it was also 21% slower in Doom
