thomas.ibsing Oct 13, 2021 @ 5:50am. all new trucks have this feature as well as lane assistance. #7. DC-GS Oct 13, 2021 @ 7:29am. The Volvo FH from 2012 has a lot more features IRL than Ingame. It has adaptive cruise controls (with acc brakes), lanekeep and change assistant, outside cameras and more.
Here are my possible speculation changelogs for 1.45 (updated as of 06/28/2022): Feature: -Trucking School. Map: - Hanover reskin. - New German city/town: Werlte (where Krone factory is located) - Additional prefab in Lyon: Renault Trucks Factory *. - Additional roads in Romania (E68/A10/E81, Leading to Cluj-Napoca)*.

Most of these can be found under Options>Gameplay. Use sequential gears (manual) if you feel like you can, or use Real Automatic (and enable Adaptive Automatic Transmission under Controls), if you have a steering wheel with a clutch setup (G25, G27, etc) then go for the H-shifter. Tick these options: Air Brake Simulation - everytime you use the
play3r_93 Mar 6, 2017 @ 11:11pm. Not sure why you are limited to only 60, unless the retarder is on or you need to go up a gear. The stock button to enable cruise control is C unless you changed it in the settings. EDIT: Oh btw the retarder has multiple levels, up to 5 on some trucks. So to completely disable it you may need to hit the decrease
American Truck Simulator > General Discussions > Topic Details. gsmsigi Feb 4, 2016 @ 2:28pm. I mis the Adaptive Automatic Transmission. I realy mis the Adaptive automatic transmission option. It stuck at 15 000 RPM That's not realistic for a automatic gearbox ! Now the engine feels wrong In euro truck 2 you have this option already.
I just noticed this optionit's disabled. i use real automatic recently, but i always used sequential i drive with mouse and keyboard. it's useful or not in my case? thanks
AAT = Adaptive Automatic Transmission. IRL you can change these modes on the fly on almost every truck that has it. Why should I have to exit my drive just to go to the controls menu to change this setting when I need to? AAT was added to the game YEARS ago. I cannot for the life of me figure why they have not thought of this yet. Anyone agree?
Hi. I have asked this question in another forum, but didn't get a solution: I drive with keyboard, and sometime use automatic, and sometime manual gearshift. What I want, is to reduce the time when shifting gears, like automatic gearshift at cars. I have seen 1 person have done this, but can't remember where I saw this. I hope this is understandable, since english not is my ordinary language
However, High Power Mode also gives you a bit more oomph when accelerating from a standstill and especially up steep grades. Yeah, pushing pedal to the metal in all modes makes transmission rev up to red line before switching. The difference between the modes is pretty much the upshift / downshift / kickdown RPM ranges.
It works like a real automatic accelerator, if you are using something with analog input (like a wheel pedal or a trigger button on an xbox controller). As you press the accelerator harder, more fuel is delivered to the engine.
If you find yourself having trouble getting up a hill or pulling out of a quarry or whatever, switch to sequential and stick it in a low gear. Do your business and then switch back to automatic. #2.
